Daddy Do List

Before Aaron's last deployment the kids and I sat down and made a list of everything they wanted to do with him before he left. The kids were really cute shouting out their ideas and I would write them down. This year they wanted to write their own lists.
Here are just a few of the ideas they came up with...

1. Camping
2. Go to Florida, the beach.
3. Disney World

4.Go get ice cream
5. Go to the park
6.Go to the movies

7. Go downtown Chicago and stay in a hotel
8. Japanese steak house
9. Dress up with Daddy for Halloween

10. Bonfire
11. Have a surprise party for daddy.

Since we are not sure how many weekends/days we have available to spend with him we are hoping that we get to cross a few things off the list next weekend.

Taekwondo birthday party

One of Grace's best friends from 1st grade turned 7 (seriously, where did the time go?!) and had a Taekwondo Birthday party at her house. The kids had a blast doing all the stunts and running around outside for a few hours.

Ella was the Belle of the ball
and had every little kid loving on her the entire day.

I think Gavin was having the most fun out everyone, kicking and punching the guys. I guess I need to get him into this on a weekly basis.

Gracie, Jack, Gavin, Ava and Fritz.

The great pinata Trinity's parents made for her party. Along with cupcakes, ice cream and candy the kids couldn't have asked for anything more.

Ella had a blast. She walked around all day with a huge smile on her face. She did not want me to hold her once but always made sure I was around.

Purses, and phones, and hats! Oh, my!

I knew this day would come. I postponed showing Ella what exactly was in Grace and Ava's closet because once she knew, there was no going back. Disney Princess dresses galore hanging up along with every accessory a little girl could want or need. Hats, purses, jewelry, tiaras. She was in heaven and didn't know where to start.

Just like her big sister Ava, she loves purses. They are both usually carrying around a few each at a time.
