Today we took a trip with our friends Tara, Emma and Danny to a pick-your-own strawberries patch just south of Clarksville, TN. When we pulled up I was a little surprised how cute it was and that there were tons of great strawberries left to be picked! First off we had to take a picture in front of the wooden strawberry!
The kids got their own buckets and started running down the center aisle of the strawberry patch. I was a little worried that we would get rained on but it turned out to be a beautiful morning!
Ella was not happy being in the baby carrier. She kept trying to push and pull her way out of it. Every time I would reach down for a strawberry she would try to get her hands on one too. Right here she is kicking the plant with her foot trying to reach anything.
Ava and Gavin carried their own very full baskets and heavy baskets for about a min before they passed them off to me on the way back to the barn.
After all the strawberries were pack away in the truck the kids sat on the swing for a group picture. We all had a wonderful time and on the way home the kids were asking to go back tomorrow.
